i'm beginning to feel like a yo-yo...
seems next month I will be going back to days...see how long that lasts. anyway, I hope to be out of here by the middle of the month. I got a job offer last week, and if all goes well, will be starting there around the middle of june. it is back to doing CAD, and the hours are better...7-430. so keep your fingers crossed for me. after all I need to get out of this nuthouse that I work in now or I will be in arkham, rather than working at it ;)

in other news...had a rather quiet weekend, have been working since saturday ngiht on the overnight shift, so not much really to report. finally got my herb garden, and not your kind of herb myra. so now have little pots of basil, oregano, roemary, thyme, spearmint, and celantro. now can have fresh herbs any time I cook :) well, can't think of much more to say, except maybe... jane get me off this crazy thing..called work.

Got Dax's comments to work tonight, and he upgraded and thought he had lost his archives, but got them back for him. am I good or what? anyway, got this big project at work goign on. and it is slow, boring, and tedius. so, will be doing that for the rest of tonight, and probably tomorrow night too. but at least it gives me something to do. taking a break from it right now as it grinds on the mind. watched the final episode of Buffy and got to say that it was sad to know that it is gone, and nothing new will be seen on this show. I hope the rumors that angel will also be done now will not come true. got to keep some part of it all alive. but only next season will tell. tonight is the season finalle of that startrek show. not sure if I am gonna watch or not. just been bad lately. and this destroying life on earth thing is kinda pissing me off. but may watch it jsut to see what happens. kinda like watching a train wreck. so I bid a fond farewell to buffy and her minions. and hope to see some kind of new offshoot program. again, time will tell. speaking of time, time for me to get back to work...bummer.

some people are never happy...
ok, so for the past couple of weeks, it has been nothign but whining aobut how hot it is in the building, and can we fix the ac. today it was calls to please go back to heat because it is too cold. even had one person with the gall to ask if I could get the complex to pay for a hotel room for her untill it warmed up again, then was upset with me because it is company policy that only property managers can authorize that. she told me to " have a lousy night." gee thanks. have not these people heard of electric heaters and layers of clothes. I mean, yea it is a bit colder than it has been and probably should be, but this is just plain stupid. bet you in a couple of days, they will be whining that it is too hot again.

in other news...
had a geek session last night, and it was kinda fun. didn't get much play time in, because as usual, we had to chat for a long time on this, that, or the other thing going on. everything from x2, matrix reloaded, the end of buffy(sob), and the crap on enterprise. yes, we truly are a bunch of geeks with seemingly no life. we also digressed into some of our crew's abundant sex
lives, or others dry spells as it were. but what little time we did play, was good, and was great on character development. got some great little plot twists going on, and some fun stuff set up for the near future. and on top it all, I finally got enough points to go up a level. so I will finally be a 14th level character. think I am going to go up a level in thief this time. got a new prestiege class I want to start getting levels in, but think I need to wait a bit on that. so maybe for my next level. then watch out. talon will be one bad ass cleric thief :)

and on that note...

kill the wabbits...
today is a day where I just want to kill everyone that comes near me. seems that no matter waht they say, it just irks me and aggrivates me. thank god I only have two more hours and then go home and back to bed. have no place to be tomorrow untill I come back to work at 3, so gonna take it easy and be lazy around the house. wanted to do that today, but had promised peter that I would spend a few hours at the book store so , went in for a bit. it wasn't bad, but the rest of the day has been lousy. anyway, got some stuff to do here at work, so...

and the crowd goes wild...
so, the renegades finally win a game against a "straight" team. Pax River. and there was much rejoycing in mudville ;) this is one fo the few teams we play in the fall matrix competition. I am sure they will be more than up to the rematch in the fall. but then I hope we will be too.
in other news...
got to see x-2 yesterday. it was quiet enjoyable. best part was the whole "outing" sceen where bobby, aka iceman, comes out to his family as a mutant. any gay person will recognise some of the lines his mother says..."can't you just not be a mutant"..."it's all my fault". the ending was quite sad, but left it way open for the next movie. hope they make it. had a nice couple of days off from work. work will be better for the rest of this month. will not be working the overnight shift, so will have a somewhat regular sleep schedule. I am all for that. also still trying to get a promotion of some sorts. decided to try my hand at the leasing side as this is where I lost the most points in my previous interviews. get the experience, then try again. it is all I can do. so, until next time...

to blog or not to blog...
that is the question. wether is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous comments, or to take arms and by stopping, end them.
hope the bard will forgive me my poetic liscence, but just seems to me that we have a bit of a war of the bloggs going on here, and I am wondering if it is really worth it. I like the idea of the journal, but don't want the drama. I am trying to make my life drama free. so far it is working for the most part. just have to see what the future holds. oh well. such is the life of a gay man.

you love is falling down like...
rain. what a glorious thunderstome we had just after I got to work. lots of lightning, and hevy rains, but as is usual for the dc area, it came and went in relatively short order. it was gone about an hour or so after it started. but it was cool while it lasted. only wish I had been home so I could have sat on the patio and watched it instead fo being traped here at work.
