rudeness pt. 2...
I just can't believe it. was looking through bloggs tongiht, and came across this one where the author says that he is tired of incipid bloggs that are meaningless and just plain shallow. and wants everyeone's to be more thought provoking and interesting. what was interesting, is that the blogg he was talking about was dax's. I don't think this guy gets it. a blogg is a kinda self-centered rant and posting that is entirely the mind and feelings of the author. I do not pretend that my blog is intelectual, or really all that important in the grand scheme of the cosmos. it is jsut random thoughts and ides that course through my head. and I hope that if someoen does find my blog, doesn't like what I have to say or how I say it, then they will not come back to my blog. it's a free world, and we all have differing opinions, thoughts, expressions, etc. but then maybe that person is so wrapped up in his own world, that he fails to see how spiteful it is to say those things. specially since I feel that he is being negative in his blog. but then we all have negative days, so I will let it pass, let it wash over me, and will be stronger for it in the end. my only wish is that if he does read this that he would be a big man and get over his anger and resentment and rejoyce in the happiness that is to be found in the world. maybe I should take my own advice here and count my blessings in stead of dwelling on the negatives. lord knows I could have linked to his blogg in this posting, but have not. I am too respectful to do that to others. bit then I have alwasy tried to live under a beilef that we are on this world for far too short a time to harbor resentments. I just hope that if he does read this he will go back and read some of his own blogs and maybe try to live his life by the words that he has put down in there. after all, it can only make his life better, and through that his world outlook. may not end war, but altleast it ends drama. idic.

I just hate inconsiderate people...
so, I am at work now. I was supposed to be off tongiht, and resting at home, chilling, playing video games, cleaning the apt. what ever. but NO. one selfish asshole here at work up and decides to quit yesterday. no two weeks, no notice other than a call yesterday at around 2 to say taht last ngiht was his last night. I got the call from the acm at 5 to ask me to work. stupid me, I agreed, and will be working the next 5 nights in a row. but I guess that is better than working all kinds of weird shifts. but, it still irks me that he did this. just hope he never has to come back here for a reference. cuz he done burned this bridge.
in other news...
not much else to say about this weekend. had a game of d&d on saturday taht was fun, but also kinda sad in that it was rich's last game with us for a while. I guess he may try to come down on occasion as he will only be in nyc, but he is now officially gone from the dc area. will miss him and his bf. spent some time with dax on saturday, that was nice and fun. other than that, not much to report. spent today cleaning, shopping, and sleeping. so was a kinda boring day. as will the next few days. oh well. so, kiddies, until next time...

if at first you don't succeed...
so, thursday I had my third interview for an acm position with the company. this was for a community in the garden style (aka townhomes) division. I think it went ok, but who knows. as one of my coworkers here said the other day. you just need for one person to give you that break, then you are golden. so, I hope this is that break. everything else seems to be ok at the moment. got a d&d game this saturday taht I am dming. no idea what I am going to put them through, but I will find something I hope. got to see what I got at home for it. went through my dungeon mags, and nothing really stuck out at me as being fun and short. this will be the last game Richard plays with us as he is moving to the big apple next week. wish him the best of luck there, and will miss him. but it also give me a place to crash any time I am up there ;) got the weekend off, so gonna take some me time on saturday, then on sunday do stuff around the house. also saw that there is some cool stuff on pbs on sunday night, so gonna watch that. ever since farscape and the new episodes of sg1 ended, fridays have been uninspireing. and with buffy ending soon. what am I going to have left to watch> nothing :( not to mention the fact that it seems that abc, or wht ever one of them it was on, has canceled veritas:the quest. it was kinda cool to watch. so, I am hoping it will be back soon. and their stupid "prime time coverage of the war" didn't kill it. it was actually kinda cool. nothing else to say except that I am really tired, have about 2.5 hours left now, then go home try to sleep, and am back here at 3 for another full shift. my life sucks, can I say that. I really need to get one of these other jobs. it would make my life so much better. oh well. on that note...

advents over the weekend...
lots of work, and sleep this weekend. the easter bunny brought me a basket at work on sunday. it was filled with yummy Cadbury eggs. I am going to be in sugar overload. Saturday I had a birthday dinner for a friend. the big laugh was that when Michael called for the reservation, he happens to have the exact same name as one of the corporate executives. so, the resteraunt was in a tizzy over our arrival. On Sunday, I had dinner with a friend and his roommate that I helped get a job with smith. I hope he does good. I wish him the best of luck. and who knows, if I get promoted, maybe he can take my job here. nice kid. I hope it all works out for him.
Monday, I had an interview with a company taht does CAD work for the government. seems like it would be a nice place to work, and the money is good. I am just not sure if I want to go back into the field. but keeping my options open. I came into work today, and had an e-mail about a assistant community manager job that I had applied for. I am interviewing for that on thursday. so, wish me luck. well, taht is about all that I got to report at the moment. so,

days off and drama at work...
so, had the start of this week off of work, so have not written in a while. then on wednesday at work, we had drama. seems someoen had gone onto a site that caused the computer here to list all these porn sites in the history and the favorites, as well as implanting cookies that caused us to get rather explicit pop up ads. it was quite interesting, but at the same time disgusting. anyway, due to the computer being messed up because of this visit, I could not blogg from here on wednesday. have a bad feeling that someone is goign to loose their job over this. all I can say is it was not me. it happened some time between when I left sunday ngiht and when I came back on wednesday. that is why I limit that kind of web browsing to my home computer ;) not like I can get fired at home :) not really mush else to report. had a nice day with daniel yesterday, and met carla, his twin sister. oh, got an e-mail about a cad job. gonna call about it when I get up in the afternoon. it is down in springfield, but the money looks good. so to all you out there, keep your fingers crossed.

yea! we won...
the final score was 48-3, but it was also against a team that has little experience. it was a fun time in great weather, though the back of my neck is sore and red still. probably will be for a couple of days. had a fun time with daniel and all the ruggers. it was a fun time. had a couple of beers after the game, then took daniel home, and went home my self to sleep before heading to work.

in other news...
there was this resident who called me at 2am to have a mouse removed form her apartment. got it taken care of, but she then wanted the property to pay for all new food, and her hotel stay at another hotel last night. I doubt it will happen but it is not up to me, up to the property manager. oh well. be interesting to see how it ends. mainly have to gripe about the roundears here at work. they are far too petty and trifiling. but I try not to let it bother me, and jsut let it slide off. I am kinda just here to vent at.

the freaks are loose...
ok, had this "guy" come in. think dude looks like a lady, or more exactly, lady looks like a dude. it was the first time I had seen this particular lady, but I have seen another that lives in this building. wonder if they are related? not do dis people, i just find it odd. but then things I do are odd to others too. not saying they have to stop what it is they enjoy, just making a comment that I find it odd, as others are free to do to me. ok, got to stop this pc blogging, or I will go crazy. two firsts are about to happen in the next paragraph, see if you can figure them out.
FROM THIS MOMENT ON, I WILL NO LONGER BE PC IN THIS BLOGG. IF I FEEL LIKE SAYING IT THEN i WILL. AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT. THEN STOP READING.
thank you we now return to our regularly formatted blogg. thanks to all who remain after this. love you.

it's all in how you read it...
the one problem with e-mailing, blogging, or other forms of written communication is that when you write it, it may be funny to you, or bitchy, or just plan writing. but, when someone reads the information, it is then interpreted by how they feel about the subject, or the content, or how they feel about you, or where their emotions are that day. I say this because someone quite dear to me has been havign problems with how people interpret his blogg. these things are good because they give you a window into a person's soul, the problem is, that is not a whole picture of their life, nor is it a real view of them, as you, dear reader, bring your own baggage to how you interpret what is said. so, that said, when viewing a blogg, take all you read with a grain of salt, and calmly interpret what you read. often times it is not a personal attack, just something that someone wrote.

it is so hard...
sometimes to think up snappy titles, and quick wit to put in here. sometimes I just don't seem up to it. guess i am just not cut out for the consistantly funny bloggs. oh well.

in other news...
went and saw spirited away on sunday with Daniel. it was fun. a good movie, and I really enjoyed it. I will be buying it when it comes out on dvd just so I can see the full length version. seems they cut stuff out for the theater release, but it was still quiet good anyway. it was kinda funny listening to some people as we were leaving the theater trying to "westernize" and moralize the story. gee folks, it is jsut a story. it does have some mythos in it, but that is about it. no deep hidden meaning, and god is not in star wars.
been working the 11-7 shift the past few nights, and I got to say, I just don't like this shift. I like that there is little to do, but at the same point, it is hard to just sit here some nights. and the havoc it wrecks on my sleep cycle...don't even get me started.
well, speaking of work, got to try to justify my paycheck, so,

wabbit season, no duck season...

ok, so the toursist have begun their annual decention onto dc. and once again, I have no idea where to go to get my hunting liscence. they will block our metro escalators, hold up the turnstiles, block the train doors, drive the wrong way on one way streets, not yeild at the circles (wait, those are the residents of dc), and generally cause havoc anywhere they go. I guess this is the curse you bear for living in a city that is a major tourist destination, as well as the torture we put up with on a regular basis with this or that protest group. seems the latest idea is to surround the white house as a protest to stop the war. someone needs to tell these neo-hippies and slugs that the only thing stopping this war now is one dead iraqi leader. americans are over watching coverage on the news, and if they really want a fix, go hit up one of hte news stations. but the big 3 still insist on interrupting everythign with bullitins and primetime specials. wish they would get the clue and realize they are only hurting their own rating with this crap. unless you are showing the public execution of saddam, most americans don't want to watch this stuff any more. glad I got cable, and the dvd/vcr. well, almost time to go home and hit the sack. I am really tired, been up almost 24 hours now. I am ready for bed.
